microPublications are nuggets of stand-alone data, usually representing the results from a single experiment, such as the mapping/characterization of new mutation or the description of a new method/tool. They include novel findings, negative and/or reproduced data, or just results which may lack a broader scientific narrative. Each article is peer reviewed, assigned a DOI and published at microPublication.org, free of charge. Moreover, microPublications are now indexed at Europe PMC. A list of current Drosophila microPublications can be found at microPublication.org and at FlyBase.
