The Molecular Interaction Search Tool (MIST) integrates information about protein-protein and genetic interactions, and facilitates network views and download of results of search queries. First launched by the DRSC in 2018, MIST has since been updated with additional interaction data sets and features. Most recently, the DRSC integrated modENCODE tissue-specific expression data with protein and genetic interaction data for Drosophila at MIST. After building a network for input gene(s), users can select a tissue of interest (e.g. digestive system of 4-day adults) and the expression level of each gene becomes reflected by node color, making it possible for users to build tissue-specific networks.
