Fly is the first international peer-reviewed journal to focus on Drosophila research.

Editor in Chief, and former Chief Editor of EMBO Reports, Howy Jacobs has expanded the editorial board to include a broad spectrum of experts in the field of Drosophila research from all over the world. The journal now covers a diverse range of topics in genetics, developmental biology, neuroscience, ecology and many other disciplines relevant to Drosophila and Diptera in general.
