Dear Friends and Colleagues,
We are pleased to invite you to the 27th European Drosophila Research Conference (EDRC), to be held October 20th to 23rd, 2023 in Lyon, France.
The conference website https://edrclyon.sciencesconf.org/ includes information about the scientific program such as the plenary speakers, sessions, workshops, posters and travel arrangements.
We are planning for an on-site conference but also propose an online-only conference registration (livestream and 30 days replay of talks) but presenters (talks and posters) shall be on site.

The EDRC has gained great popularity over the years and now draws more than 700 Drosophila researchers worldwide. We think that you will agree that this year’s scientific program is exciting. The conference venue is the International Congress Center in Lyon in the heart of the city center, on the edge of the Tête d’Or Park.
Accommodation is independent of registration to the conference. We provide a list of hotels with negotiated rates. We suggest that you book promptly as the number of negotiated rooms is limited.
We will waive 20 registration fees for students (Master or Ph’D) attending the conference on-site and presenting a talk or a poster. See the criteria here and please send your application to edrc2023@ens-lyon.fr by April 16th.
